At Little Villages, children ages 2-5 explore, discover, and grow through purposeful play. From hands-on classes to open-ended play sessions, everything we do is designed to spark imagination, strengthen early skills, and nuture confidence. Parents and caregivers are part of the journey too - because we believe play is most powerful when it brings us together.

Pre-K 3 Readiness

Pre-K 3 Readiness is a gentle introduction to school routines for children who will turn three before September 1. Through purposeful play, early literacy activities, math readiness, and simple classroom routines, children learn foundational skills while still enjoying the freedom and joy of being little.

• Fine-motor development
• Following directions and classroom routines
• Social confidence and cooperative play

We focus on confidence over pressure — helping young learners ease into structured learning in a calm, nurturing environment. Families are welcome to stay for open play from 10:00–12:00.

Tinker Tuesday invites children to explore early STEM concepts through hands-on play. Each week, little learners build, experiment, test ideas, and work with real materials that spark curiosity. Children problem-solve, make observations, and follow their natural urge to figure out how things work — all in a playful, child-friendly way.

Once Upon a Wednesday brings beautiful books to life through themed sensory play and story-rich invitations. Children listen, retell, act out, and explore stories with their whole bodies, deepening comprehension in a way that feels like magic. Each week blends reading with hands-on materials, dramatic play, and open-ended exploration.

Tiny Tunes Tuesday is a lively, play-filled music class designed for curious little movers. Children sing, dance, shake instruments, and explore rhythm through playful invitations that spark confidence and creativity.

Each week blends familiar songs with new sounds, giving children the chance to move their bodies, follow a beat, and express themselves in joyful, developmentally meaningful ways.

VPK Prep

VPK Prep is a gentle, play-based class designed to help children step into their Pre-K year with confidence. Through purposeful activities, structured routines, and hands-on exploration, children build the foundational skills they’ll use every day in a VPK classroom — all while still enjoying the magic of being little.
​
Children practice early literacy, math readiness, fine-motor strength, social skills, and independent routines in a warm, encouraging environment that meets them exactly where they are.

• Fine-motor readiness for writing
• Following directions and routines
• Social confidence and cooperative play
Our goal is never pressure — just preparation. We give children the tools they’ll need, and parents the peace of knowing their child is growing, learning, and developing at their own pace.
